Terms of Service

These are the terms for using JobbTrakr. By creating an account or using the app, you're agreeing to them, so it's worth actually reading this rather than scrolling past — we've kept it as short and plain as we reasonably can. If something here doesn't sit right with you, email support@jobbtrakr.app before you sign up.

What JobbTrakr does

JobbTrakr is cloud-based job management software for trade contractors — quotes and invoices, job scheduling, inventory, timesheets, customer records, and reporting, all in one place.

Creating an account

When you register, give us accurate details for both yourself and your business — we rely on the business name, phone number, email, and (if you have one) ABN, ACN, or NZBN to be real. You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for everything that happens under your account, and you need to tell us straight away if you think someone else has got into it.

New signups get a 30-day free trial. We allow one trial per business — if we find that a business has already had a trial (whether that's picked up through the phone number, business number, or business email matching an existing account, or some other way), we'll block the new signup or, if it's already gone through, we may suspend or close the duplicate account. If you think this has happened to your account by mistake, email support@jobbtrakr.app and we'll sort it out.

Using JobbTrakr fairly

Use JobbTrakr for what it's built for, and don't do anything that would mess it up for other people. That means no illegal use, no trying to break into parts of the system that aren't yours, no uploading malware, no scraping or hammering the app with automated scripts, and no reselling access to the Service without our say-so. Standard stuff, but worth saying plainly.

We'd also ask that you not register more than one trial account for the same business — see "Creating an account" above for how we handle that.

Your data is yours

Everything you put into JobbTrakr — your customers, quotes, invoices, jobs, whatever it is — belongs to you. We store and process it purely to run the Service for you, keep backups in case something goes wrong on our end, and occasionally look at anonymised, aggregated patterns (never your specific data) to improve the product.

We keep solid backups, but you're still the one responsible for your own critical business records — export what matters to you every so often, just in case.

Activity logs

Every quote, job, and invoice keeps a log of who did what and when, visible to your team members who have access to that record — it's there for your own accountability, and it's never sent out in documents to your customers.

Logs are kept for 24 months and then permanently deleted. If you need them for compliance or audit reasons beyond that, export them before the 24 months is up — we're not able to recover them once they're gone, and we're not liable for records lost to that automatic deletion.

Who owns what

JobbTrakr — the name, the software, the design — is owned by OLIVIAT-Autonomy and protected under standard copyright and trademark law. Your business data is yours, as covered above; the software itself is ours.

Third-party services we rely on

JobbTrakr is built on top of a few outside services: Supabase for hosting and authentication, Stripe for payments, Resend for transactional email, and Twilio if you choose to send SMS to your customers. We also use Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to understand traffic and ad performance.

If you connect your own account with any of these (for example, your own Twilio number for SMS), you're bound by that provider's terms as well as ours, and you're responsible for keeping your own credentials with them secure.

Payment

Once paid plans launch, billing runs through Stripe, subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel, and payments are non-refundable except where the law says otherwise. If we change pricing, we'll give you 30 days' notice first.

Keeping the lights on

We aim for 99.9% uptime, but we can't promise the Service will never go down — maintenance, updates, and things outside our control happen. We're not liable for losses caused by service interruptions.

No warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

Limits on our liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JOBBTRAKR AND OLIVIAT-AUTONOMY ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED WHAT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

Indemnification

If a claim, loss, or expense arises from your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your infringement of someone else's rights, you agree to cover us — that includes JobbTrakr, OLIVIAT-Autonomy, and our affiliates.

Ending an account

We can suspend or close your account for breaching these Terms, fraudulent or illegal activity, non-payment once paid plans are live, duplicate trial signups as described above, or — with 30 days' notice — for any other reason.

Whether you cancel a paid subscription or simply don't subscribe before your free trial ends, we treat the account as inactive from that date. You'll get a reminder email at day 45 and a final warning at day 83, then we'll permanently delete your account and all its data on day 90, unless you've logged in and have an active subscription before then.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and any disputes are resolved in Australian courts. If you're outside Australia, using JobbTrakr means you accept that jurisdiction.

If these Terms change

We can update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we'll email you or show you a notice in the app — continuing to use JobbTrakr after that means you've accepted the update.

The whole agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and JobbTrakr.
